Sensational when massed - Adds impressive flashes of color to partly shaded mixed borders - Combines nicely with Coral Bells

From handsome 4 inch mats of evergreen scalloped foliage burst long drooping 6-8 inch arcs of radiating golden flowers in late spring and summer. They add the perfect flare to containers, mixed borders, rock gardens. Solar Yellow Chiastophyllum prefers moist, well-drained soil and part to light shade. Somewhat hardier than many sources report, we confidently describe Solar Yellow as winter hardy to zone 5 - but with the information we have been receiving from other growers, a revision to zone 4 may soon be in order. Packet is 50 pelleted seeds for easy sowing.
