Lantana x camara

These fast growing 18-24 inch plants are valued for their eye-catching flowers in combinations of red and yellow, rose and yellow, and lilac and white. They bloom from May to October and are a favorite stop for butterflies. CamaraH ybrids lantana tolerates heat, humidity and drought. A perennial in zones 9 and 10, in cooler climates plants can be potted-up in autumn and over wintered indoors or in a greenhouse. Seeds require bottom-heat to germinate. Packet is 20 seeds.

How to Plant LANTANA Seeds

Soak seed for 24 hours in warm water, then sow in peat pots or cell packs, press into soil and and lightly cover. Kept at 75-80 degrees F., germination is in 30-60 days. Using bottom-heat is recommended.
