Vigorous and easy to grow, 3-4 in. tall cascading annuals carry soft velvety, fan-shaped silvery foliage which can spread 3-5 ft. across. Very showy, Silver Falls dichondra makes dramatic hanging baskets or an excellent temporary ground cover. Plants are heat and drought tolerant, needing only sun and well-drained soil to thrive.
Growing Silver Falls Dichondra Seeds
Sow dichondra seed in cell packs or flats, press into soil, do not cover. Needs light to germinate. Kept at 70-75° F., germination is in 4-15 days. Transplant into the garden after all danger of frost.
