Shirley Poppy Seeds
Silky, 2-4 in. double poppies in soft shades of coral, apricot-pink, orange, rose, peach, lavender, gray-pink, and white. Angel's Choir Shirley poppy also includes many interesting bicolor and picotee poppies. There will be the occasional single-flowered or red-flowered plant. Plants grow 18-30 in. tall.
Growing Angel's Choir Shirley Poppy Seeds
Direct sow Shirley poppies into prepared seed beds that have been cleared of weeds and have had the top 1 in. of soil loosened. Rake seed in. Press into soil by walking over the area. Keep moist until germination. Kept at 60-75°F., germination is in 14-21 days. Can start indoors in 2 in. containers.
