Organically grown. Blooms in beautiful shades of apricot, peach, and salmon. Apricot Peach Mix strawflowers produce loads of vibrant 2-3 in. papery pompom-like flowers on well-branched, heavy-blooming 3-3½ ft. tall, heat and drought tolerant plants.
Strawflowers attract butterflies and are superb cut flowers. Known as 'everlastings' because the flowers will last indefinitely when dried. Apricot Peach Mix strawflowers remain in bloom over a long season.
Growing Apricot-Peach Mix Strawflower Seeds
Sow your strawflower seed in cell packs or flats, press into soil but do not cover. Needs light to germinate. Kept at 70-75°F., germination is in 10-20 days. Transplant seedlings early, do not allow them to become pot bound. You can direct sow strawflower seeds into prepared seed beds after all danger of frost. Thin seedlings to 12 in. apart.
