Kauai Lemon Drop wishbone flower is more compact and better-branched than the Clown series. The fast growing, 8 in. tall plants produce beautiful bright flowers which look like miniature gloxinias. Kauai Lemon Drop wishbone flower is an excellent performer in borders, pots, or window boxes. Tolerant of both heat and humidity, plants require moist soil and prefer sun in cool climates, and afternoon shade where summers are hot.
Growing Kauai Lemon Drop Wishbone Flower Seeds
Sow seed in cell packs or flats, use a sterilized packaged soil mix. Press seeds into soil but do not cover. Needs light to germinate. Kept at 70°F., germination is in 15-20 days. Transplant into the garden 6 in. apart.
