Robinson's Single Mix painted daisies are bushy 2-3 ft. tall perennials which produce 2-3 in. wide, bright yellow-eyed daisies in late spring and early summer. When plants are cut back, they bloom again in late summer. Foliage is handsome, finely divided and vivid green. Flowers are excellent for cutting.
Robinson's Single Mix painted daisies dislike climates that are both hot and humid. Give plants full sun in mild summer areas, part shade where summers are hot. Winter hardy to zone 3. Packet is 1 gram, about 300 seeds.
Growing Robinson's Single Mix Painted Daisy Seeds
Sow painted daisy seeds in cell packs or flats, press into soil but do not cover. They will need light to germinate. Kept at 60-70° F., germination is in 14-21 days. Can direct sow painted daisy seeds in groups of 4 seeds, spaced 18-24 in. apart. Thin to the strongest plant.
