Amber Eyes Black-Eyed Susan vine blooms heavily with soft amber yellow flowers with dark burgundy eyes.
Trailing or twining 5-6 ft vines with masses of showy, 1-1.5 in. tubular flowers bloom from summer until frost. Vines are most often trained on trellises or strings, and can also make highly ornamental seasonal ground covers. Amber Eyes vines planted in hanging baskets are graceful and colorful, and allow close-up viewing.
Growing Amber Eyes Black-Eyed Susan Vine Seeds
Soak Black-Eyed Susan Vine seed in water for 12 hours, then sow in 2 in. pots or cell packs, press into soil and completely cover. Kept at 75-80°F., germination is in 14-21 days. Transplant seedlings into the garden 12-18 in. apart, after all danger of frost.
