Where most picotee flowers are light colored with a darker edge, AmeriHybrid Picotee Lace Pink's clear pink petals are delicately edged in white. Enormous, 4-8 in. lacy double blooms appear in late spring, summer and fall. Nicely-shaped, upright plants grow 14-20 in. tall and 10-12 in. wide with lush, emerald green leaves. Plant in containers or in partially shaded garden beds.
Growing AmeriHybrid Picotee Lace Pink Begonia Seeds
Sow begonia seeds in cell packs or flats, press into soil but do not cover. Light aids germination. Kept at 80°F., germination is in 14-60 days. Bottom-heat will improve results and is recommended. Transplant into the garden 10 to 17 in. apart.
